BERLIN INTENSIVE 2015
What is this intense training all about?
We have, for some time, considered the idea of offering an intensive training course for those with an interest in seriously studying Taijiquan. We wanted to create a short but highly condensed, comprehensive instruction in our method, which has been handed down from Chen Fake, Chen Zhaokui and Chen Yu.
Therefore, from the 5th of October until the 1st of November we are offering our first full-time Taijiquan training in Berlin. The number of participants is limited, to ensure that individual instruction is always guaranteed. This deep level of traditional training can nowadays rarely be found.
Previous experience in Taijiquan is required for this advanced type of training to ensure the best results. As the course will be challenging, there will be a consultation interview beforehand to establish that it is right for you. This will also provide us with an opportunity to meet beforehand in person (or on Skype or other platforms for international guests).
Which topics will be covered?
First form (yilu) in week 1+2, second form (erlu) in week 3+4, sitting (dazuo), applications (yongfa), supplementary strength training (qixie). In addition to general Taiji theory we will discuss overall movement principles and elaborate details. Our method is characterised as a very extensive workout which incorporates precise body mechanics (shenfa) to cultivate a multitude of holistic power methods (jin).

You can look forward to a demanding workout that will challenge you physically as well as mentally. In addition, our program promises to inspire you by putting forward new ideas and impulses to provide you with many tools from our movement system which will give a solid platform for a lifetime’s training. And in addition there will be the fun of training together with other enthusiasts right in the heart of Berlin.

09.30 am to 10.30 am Qigong, warming up, sretching, sitting
10.30 am to 11.30 am equipment, free training with private coaching
11.30 am to 01.00 pm form-instructions
01.00 pm to 02.00 pm lunch break
02.00-pm to 03.15 pm form-applications
03.15 pm to 05.30 pm break
05.30 pm to 06.15 pm form-instructions
06.15 pm to 07.15 pm pushhands and drills

What will you gain from this kind of training?
Training will be activating and energizing. It will strengthen your body; improve elasticity, flexibility and balance. It will change your body structure in a sustainable way. This system of training will develop, stabilise and move the body core, harness martial-art skills, self-defense options, and establishes peace of mind and mental focus.
