Registration Fee: €575 (non-members) / €500 (CTND members)
The registration fee is non-refundable. The remaining balance (total cost minus registration fee) is due by October 15, 2025.
Payment Note: The final payment due until October 15 will not be processed through CTNAcademy but directly to our Malaysian organizing team. Details will be provided in advance.
Join us for the very first CTN Taiji Training Camp in Malaysia – a unique 10-day journey combining intensive Chen-Style Taijiquan training with cultural immersion and breathtaking natural surroundings.
This camp is part of the CTND instructor development program and serves as vocational training in the context of Chen-Style Taijiquan instruction. It qualifies for VAT exemption under §4 No. 21 a) bb) of the German VAT Act (UStG). The €500 / €575 registration fee covers coaching and planning services provided by CTND and is therefore exempt from VAT. The remaining balance is paid directly to the Malaysian organizing team and is not invoiced by CTND.
📅 What to Expect
- Jan 17–21: Kuala Lumpur
Arrival, local sightseeing, and approx. 2 hours of daily Taiji practice to ease into the rhythm. - Jan 21–24: Song Yan Retreat
Full retreat mode – dive deep into Taiji training with daily 6 hours intensive sessions, surrounded by the lush Malaysian mountains. - Jan 24–27: Melaka
A change of pace with cultural exploration, shared reflection, some training and group closure in this historic town.

📍 Kuala Lumpur – The Chow Kit & Heritage Valley
- The Chow Kit: A vibrant neighborhood full of character, once known for its traditional market and now evolving into a creative urban space. Enjoy cafes, street food, and authentic local life all around our hotel base.
- Chow Kit Street & Market: Explore one of KL’s most bustling markets, offering fresh produce, textiles, and local flavors—a colorful, sensory-rich way to start the day.
- Little India (Brickfields): Dive into vibrant street life and enjoy a traditional Indian lunch amid temples, spice shops, and sari stores.
- Thean Hou Gong: Visit this stunning Chinese temple on a hilltop overlooking KL, known for its ornate architecture and peaceful atmosphere.

- Heritage Valley & Perdana Botanical Gardens: Taiji training unfolds in scenic green spaces, including a skatepark with mountain views and the serene, shaded paths of KL’s largest public garden.
🌿 Song Yan Retreat & Chamang Waterfall
- Song Yan: A peaceful retreat center in the Malaysian highlands, perfect for deep internal work. Expect intensive 6-hour training days, quiet evenings, and healthy meals in a natural setting.
- Chamang Waterfall (Bentong): Take a refreshing break with this beautiful 24-meter cascade. The area includes hanging bridges, natural pools, and a gentle jungle vibe.
- Bentong Town: Experience authentic Malaysian town life during a shared dinner outing—simple, local, and full of charm.
🏯 Historic Melaka – Jonker Street & Beachside Farewell
- Jonker Street: The lively heart of Melaka’s old town, full of 17th-century architecture, antique shops, night markets, and street food. Our hotel is right in the middle of it all.
