Chen-Style Taijiquan in Oklahoma City, OK – Angel M. Castillo
Angel M. Castillo is a certified CTND Assistant Instructor based in Oklahoma City, working under the guidance of Ryan Craig and Nabil Ranné. He offers both private one-on-one instruction and in-person group classes.
Angel began training in Chen-Style Taijiquan in 2020 in Los Angeles under Guo Qichen, a representative of the Village Line. After relocating to Oklahoma City, he joined the CTND in 2024 and became a certified Assistant Instructor the following year.
A lifelong martial artist, Angel holds a brown belt in Shotokan Karate and was captain of his high school wrestling team. He has also competed in various combat sports, including push-hands, submission grappling, and amateur sumo. Combined with his professional background as a licensed massage therapist, his teaching emphasizes proper body mechanics, proprioception, and functional movement.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Angel is fluent in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. He also has a long-term goal of helping expand the CTND network into Latin America.
In-person group classes take place every Sunday at 10:00 AM (CST) at Windsong Dojo in Oklahoma City.
